EVOLUTIS was founded in 1999 by experienced professionals in the orthopedic implant field, led by Jean-Michel Peguet. The company was created after a major American orthopedic company closed its R&D and manufacturing facility in Roanne, France, with the goal of preserving jobs and expertise. Initially focused on development and engineering contracts, EVOLUTIS soon began designing and launching its own product lines.
